Tagg Pet GPS Location & Activity Tracking

Pay attention! This is greyt!

If you don't already know, there is a GPS Pet Tracking device called 'Tagg' now available through National Greyhound Adoption Program. The Tagg allows you to track and find your pet's location on a map, wherever it may be, using your mobile device or computer. It also logs your dog's daily activity level and grades it.

The Tagg tracking device itself is non-cumbersome and fits easily onto your dog's collar. It is durable and water resistant. If you have another dog that might chew on the Tagg, you can buy a protective cover for an additional $6.00.

Once you get your Tagg unit home, you must set up your charging base where you will need to fully charge your unit and register it. Your Tagg device will need to be charged on the base about once a month. You will be sent an email or text message when the battery is low.

Once you register your tag device online, you can then walk through the steps to connect it to your computer or mobile device (i.e., Smart Phone, iPad, etc.) and set up your pet's safe zone. In most cases your safe zone will include your home and backyard, but can be adjusted to wherever your pet is located. If you take your dog for a walk and it goes out of the safe zone, you will get a notification sent to your mobile device or computer via text or email. If your dog gets out of the gate, you will get notification. If it scoots out the front door, you will get notification. If it jumps the backyard fence, you will get notification. For many dogs, this is a must.

Tagg requires you to purchase a locator service for a fee of $7.99 per month. You will receive three months free up front. You can cancel the service at any time with no penalty and re-establish service at any time with no penalty. If you have additional dogs with Tagg units, they can be added for $1.95 per month.

Tagg is a great investment if you use a dog walker, have children that often leave doors and gates open, use a landscaping service that may leave gates open, have a dog that is shy, easily spooked, an escape artist or a fence jumper, if you are going on vacation and have someone caring for your pet, or if you are having construction or remodeling done to your house where people are moving in and out regularly. Where else can you get such peace of mind for only $8.00 per month? You will always know where your dog is.

Tagg is currently sold at Verizon stores and at Target for $99.00. You can purchase it through NGAP at a special introductory rate of $90.00 each. Simply call the office with a credit card number to order. There will be a flat fee of $5.00 for shipping, whether you are purchasing one unit or multiple units. Sales tax will be added if shipped in Pennsylvania.
