Leader needs to be an only dog and would do best in a household with one person and NO CHILDREN OR TEENAGERS. If you keep him close to you and tell him how good he is, he will allow cars to pass without incident. He seems to prefer women to men. Once he gets to know you, he will be very protective of you. Leader should never be in areas where there is a lot of traffic. Passing cars upset him and he has a tendency to lunge at them. If you keep him close to you and tell him how good he is, he will allow cars to pass without incident, but will constantly need reinforcement. Leader has a bad habit of putting his mouth around your arm like he is going to bite you, but he has never bitten down on or hurt anyone when doing this. He does it when he wants attention or gets excited. Leader should go to a home that has a fenced-in yard but should not be put into a front yard if there is a chance that children could tease him. Leader is very affectionate once he trusts you.
