Rick Tarquinio Revisited
Rick Tarquinio is a name that few of you may recognize. We first acquired a cassette tape he had cut back in 1993 or thereaboputs which included a song called Run For Your Lives. Run For Your Lives is a song that tells the story of greyhounds that ran at the Belmont, New Hampshire Greyhound Track. Every October they would close for the winter and only those dogs that were winners would survive. The rest would be euthanized. It is a sad tale, but a true tale. The other day while my wife and I were watching a James Taylor video, my wife mentioned that we really should be playing Rick Tarquinio's music in our kennel since he sounds so much like James Taylor. I quickly retreated to my computer and googled 'Rick Tarquinio Songwriter'. Sure enough, I found him and was happily surprised to find all of his songs and albums available online for free download!
